There's been a change in plans.

Me and my girlfriend will be heading into Salem around 5 or so on Sunday, October 5 and will have to leave after the Bizarre Bazaar on the 11th. We're driving and so we don't have to take extra vacation days at work, we need to travel on the weekends. That makes Concord on Tuesday, Boston on Thursday and Danvers anytime in between. Just giving you the heads up!

Wanna know why?

I had a 2:45 PM flight out of Boston and was to arrive in Indy at 4:11...had planned on being home by 6:30PM and going to my bar and drinking with the ladies.

Instead....my plane hit Indiana ground at precisely 2:14 AM the next day. So I just got to my apartment like a couple of hours ago.

Hi Guys,

I don't know if this falls under trip reports, but I was hanging out this weekend with a friend and there was a festival of sorts on Essex St. Many vendors under tents just like at Halloween time. Christian had a mini Psychic Faire (a glimpse of things to come in Oct) that coincided with his Sorcery of the Sun festivities which I hear were marvelous!

My agenda reads the same as last year. Wed and Thurs in Salem. Fri is for Concord, Saturday in Danvers, Sunday in Boston and Monday back in Salem.

Of course I will see all the new touristy things in Salem as always. This includes Legends of Salem and the Poe Museum. Trying to decide when to take my trip this year. In keeping with years past, the 5th - 11th would be likely, but I am adding a horror movie convention from Nov. 30 - Oct. 2 to my schedule, so I don't know if I want to go to Cleveland, work two days and then hit the airport or what.

If not then, it would be the next week, 12th -18th. Well, as you all knw, my company is in the middle (actually almost done now) of a big move. I had a dream that we moved to Salem.

There we were about 5 of us sitting in the middle of I believe it's Washington Street, trying to figure out how we were going to commute. I know it was Washington Street because I remember saying "hey there's Graziani's, at least we'll have a good place to go to for lunch.

For the first time I watched the opening ceremonies parade. Miss America was a cool surprise I didn't expect. The parade overall was pretty cool.

I did my traditional first meal at the Derby Fish and Lobster, over the course of three years, I am amazed by the fact that everytime I get it, it tastes exactly like it did the year before.
