Ghost near the old Town Hall

Last year while I was taking pictures of locations for my novel, I took a picture from next to the town hall. I was sitting on some steps about halfway past the old town hall on the side that Maria's Sweet Something is on. I wasn't trying to catch a ghost, but I ended up with the best ghost picture I have ever gotten. It is in the form of a mist, but in the middle of the mist you can clearly see a face coming at you.

Now I know this is in Beverly, but I have always heard stories that it is haunted...also, has anybody heard about the faces on the stone wall down there? Does anybody know the story behind that?

Well,

Here finally is the much hunted much sought after Salem ghost photo of Nor the Great.

Yes, if you can bring your eyes away from the utter handsomeness that is Nor the Great in the picture (this may be especially hard for the ladies) -- you will see a bit of smoky haze that I believe to be ectoplasm.

Yes, I am smoking a cigarette, but trust me that much smoke did not come off it. And it is me in the picture -- if there were some sort of fog right in my face, I think...

I'm interested in hearing other people's experiences with ghosts. Do you hear them whispering to you? Do you see them watching you? Do you feel a cold chill as they pass?

What did you witness and why do you believe it was a ghost? What do you believe a ghost are?

Last year when I was in Salem (I travel there yearly), a friend of mine took a picture of me sitting on a bench in front of the Haunted Footsteps Ghost Tour, while we were waiting for the tour to start.

Now I have taken Mollie's Ghosthunting and Vampire Tour, bought her book and done a little extra curricular ghosthunting on my own here in Indiana. I am sure what appears in front of me in the picture is what Mollie calls "Ectoplasm". So I am sure it is a ghost.

Hi, My wife and I were in town near Halloween last year and we had such a great time.We had taken the Mass Hysteria Tour (which I believe is now defunct)which was ok but after the tour we were brought to a local haunt in Salem. It was a private home inhabited by a local astrologer named "Amber of Salem".It was a charming house (just off Pickman St.), she said it was inhabited by 9 spirits.We talked with her for quite some time waiting for some apparition to appear ,but nothing...
